Run dynamic simulations

The first and most important job of runr.app is to run simulations with ease, while keeping the history and summary of the runs and run-parameters, and making them clear to see and run again. In order to achieve this, there are two main panels:

  1. Run parameters: Solver mode, solver version, ncpu, memory, …
  2. History log

Choosing a run from the history log will fill the relevant parameters for the next run.

Understand what you see

Understanding what’s going on is equally important, and we have the tools for the job:

  1. The history log show the run status in realtime (running time, %, color)
  2. Mass ratio is shown on the history log
  3. The run output is shown in realtime, with the ability to send signals to the solver (stop, print, anim, …)
  4. The run output can be shown at any time with syntax highlighting for warnings, errors, success, …
  5. An editor for the input files is available with syntax highlighting for LS-DYNA, RADIOSS keywords, and with keyword folding
  6. It is possible to insert new keywords directly from the editor via special menu
  7. All relevant manuals are accessible from a handy menu
  8. Open and plot time-history files directly from inside runr.app

Wait, there's more?

Oh yes, the best part is that you can run it on Windows or Linux. The app was written from the start as multiplatform, so you can use it on your favorite OS, be it Windows or Linux (macOS is do-able, but not targeted at this time)

One more thing: OpenRadioss is in the works, a reader for time-history files (Th) is being worked on, so it will be possible to plot directly from runr.app
